Before you leave
Keep your phone charged and your contact details correct, because your pickup time is sent on the day. Be at the gate or pickup point a few minutes early.
The ride out
The vehicle is shared, so it may call at other hotels first. Guests describe clean, comfortable vans and drivers who were on time.
Through the gates
You go through an express security check and arrive with the avenue already lit. Nothing is timed until the return, so you set the pace.
The middle of the evening
Walk the canal first, eat when you are hungry and leave the shops for the end. Food and drinks are paid for on the spot.
If there is a performance
Check the venue’s channels for what is on that evening and where, then take your place early. Programmes change without notice.
The way back
Return to the meeting point before the time you were given. The vehicle takes you back to your pickup area.
